Cancellation & Refund Policy

At The Snack Story, we strive to deliver the freshest, crunchiest vegetable crisps to your doorstep. Due to the perishable nature of food products, we have specific guidelines regarding cancellations and refunds.

1. Cancellation Policy

Can I cancel my order? Yes, you can cancel your order, but only before it has been dispatched from our warehouse.

  • Timeframe: Orders are usually processed within 24 hours. If you wish to cancel, please contact us immediately.
  • How to Cancel: Email us at [support@yourdomain.com] or WhatsApp us at [Your Number] with your Order ID.
  • After Dispatch: Once the order has been handed over to our courier partner (Shiprocket/Delhivery), we cannot cancel the order.

2. Refund Policy (For Cancellations)

If you successfully cancel your order before dispatch:

  • Prepaid Orders: We will initiate a 100% refund to your original source of payment (Credit Card, UPI, Wallet). Please allow 5-7 business days for the amount to reflect in your bank account.
  • COD Orders: No refund is necessary as no payment was made.

3. Return & Replacement Policy

Do you accept returns? Due to hygiene and food safety standards, we do not accept returns on sold products. We cannot resell food items once they have left our facility.

Exceptions (Damaged or Wrong Items): We will offer a free replacement or full refund ONLY under the following circumstances:

  1. Damage: The packet arrived torn, open, or crushed during transit.
  2. Wrong Item: You ordered Beetroot Chips but received Okra Chips.
  3. Expiry: The product received is past its expiry date (highly unlikely!).

How to claim a replacement:

  1. Take a clear photo or video of the damaged/wrong product.

  3. Our team will verify the proof and dispatch a fresh replacement free of cost or process a refund.

Note: We do not offer refunds if you simply do not like the taste of a specific flavor. Taste is subjective!
